What the service is

Google Review Agent ("the service") is software operated by Regulance that sends text messages to your customers asking them to leave a Google review, and reports what happened. You are the business using the service ("you"). Your customers are the people you ask us to text.

Your customers and consent

You may only send review requests to customers who have done business with you and who have given you permission to contact them by text. By adding a customer, connecting a tool, or uploading a list, you confirm that you have that permission, that the numbers are correct, and that sending the message complies with the laws that apply to you, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and your state's rules. You are the sender of every message. We provide the tool.

• Every first text includes an opt out instruction. When a customer replies STOP, we stop texting them for your business permanently.
• Messages only go out inside the sending hours you set, in your timezone.
• Do not use the service to send anything other than a review request to a real customer.

Google's rules

The service asks every customer the same way. Do not offer money, discounts, or gifts for reviews, and do not use the service to ask only customers you expect to be positive. Both violate Google's review policies and can get your listing penalized. We do not write reviews, post reviews, or filter who gets asked based on how happy they are.

Your account

You sign in with a code emailed to you. Keep your email account secure. You are responsible for everything done under your account. One account is for one business location.

Pricing and billing

The service costs $250 per month, billed in advance through Stripe. New accounts get a 14 day free trial. After the trial, sending pauses until a payment method is added. You can cancel any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and there are no refunds for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days notice by email.

Delivery

Texts are delivered through third party carriers and messaging networks. We do our best, but we cannot guarantee that every message is delivered or delivered on time, that customers will tap the link, or that anyone will leave a review. Review counts and ratings shown in the dashboard come from Google and can lag.

Acceptable use

• No texting people who are not your customers, no purchased lists, no numbers you do not have permission to text.
• No content in your template that is misleading, abusive, or unrelated to asking for a review.
• No attempts to access another account or to interfere with the service.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or that causes carrier complaints.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Regulance is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or claims arising from messages you chose to send. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. You agree to cover us for claims that arise from your messages, your customer data, or your breach of these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change. These terms are governed by the laws of California. Contact us at the email above.
